Meals and Snacks
Children on formula need to be provided with sufficient
food for each day. Special arrangements are made to store the food
and the children are fed according to a programme agreed with parents.
All children are provided with a mid-session snack. Children attending
all day are provided with full lunch and afternoon tea, the cost
of which is included in the fees.
Allergies
Parents are required to inform the Officer in
Charge and members of the staff of any allergies or dietary problems
their child may have.
Uniform
Each child is to have at least one uniform. Sweat
shirts, joggers and polo shirts are available with the KinderWorld
logo on them.
Nappies
We recommend four nappies for full time attendance
and two for part time attendance.
Collection
Parents / Carers are requested not to take their
child without the knowledge of a member of staff. If for any reason
the known parent / carer cannot collect their child the Nursery
staff must be informed as soon as possible.
Prior to collection the name and relevant details of the person
collecting the child must be made known to the nursery staff.
Hygiene
Disposable paper towels are provided to prevent
cross-infection, and every effort is made to assist children developing
good hygiene practice.
Change of Clothes
Each child should be provided with a change of
clothes and shoe bag. Each item should be clearly marked with your
child's name.
Illness
Please do not bring your child to KinderWorld
when he or she is unwell. It is unfair to your child, the other
children and the staff. Any child with a rash, sore throat, discharge
from the eyes or nose, diarrhoea or any contagious illness should
be kept at home until a doctor has certified that he or she is fully
recovered. Antibiotics and medicines of any description must be
prescribed by a doctor and can only be administered by a member
of KinderWorld staff if a medication form is signed by a parent
/ guardian.
If your child becomes ill whilst at the nursery, you will be requested
to collect him or her and seek any medical attention on his or her
behalf.
