Language Development

Development of language and solid communication skills are vital aspects of education in the early years. We introduce the French language in the Honeybee room at an age when children are extremely receptive. To develop comprehension and imagination, we offer story telling from our well stocked library and encourage the children to communicate at 'News Time'.

Physical Activity

To promote physical agility and co-ordination, KinderWorld has an indoor Playbarn incorporating a range of play equipment designed for adventure which is especially useful on rainy days!
We also have two outdoor play areas where there are hard and soft play surfaces together with outdoor climbing frames, slides and outdoor play equipment to promote physical co-ordination.

Imaginative Play

The Dressing up Box provides extensive scope for young imaginations, as does role play activities in the home corner. There is also a shop which can be transformed into a Post Office, Hospital, Dentists or Puppet Theatre as play demands. All children have the opportunity to experiment with sand, water and play dough and discover for themselves.

Pets Corner and Flower Beds

We have an aquarium in the nursery, plus a friendly rabbit to help develop children's understanding of the need to care for animals.
In order to foster a caring attitude towards the environment, the children have hands-on' experience planting and weeding their own flowerbeds at KinderWorld.
